If you’re looking for a caring, experienced female chiropractor in Birmingham, I’d love to welcome you to Zest Chiropractic in Moseley.
My name is Lisa Archer. I’ve been helping people with musculoskeletal problems — including back pain, neck pain and sciatica — for over 20 years. I’m a GCC-registered chiropractor (registration number: 02532) and a member of the United Chiropractic Association and the ABC™ Europe Association. I offer non-invasive, drug-free chiropractic care for patients across South Birmingham, including Moseley, Kings Heath, Hall Green, Edgbaston, Harborne and Stirchley.
My path into chiropractic began in 2001 during a career break from forensic science. While working at a Forensic Science Centre in Melbourne, Australia, I noticed many of my colleagues regularly visited a chiropractor — and couldn’t stop talking about how much better they felt.
Curious, I went along to an appointment with a colleague who was struggling with restricted neck movement following a whiplash injury. After a course of chiropractic care, she regained much of her movement. I was fascinated — and that experience sparked a complete career change.
I returned to the UK, trained at the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic, (now part of the University of South Wales) and graduated in 2005 with a first class BSc (Hons) in Chiropractic. More than two decades later, I still feel genuinely privileged to support people in managing their musculoskeletal health every day.
As a chiropractor in Moseley, I regularly work with patients experiencing:
Back pain (lower and upper back)
Postural problems
Chiropractic care is a non-invasive, hands-on approach to musculoskeletal health. My aim is always to understand what’s contributing to your symptoms and to work with you on a care plan suited to your individual needs and goals.
After more than ten years practising diversified chiropractic, I discovered Advanced Biostructural Correction™ (ABC™) — a highly specific, structural method focused on identifying and addressing factors contributing to posture changes and spinal misalignment.
Seeing the results ABC™ produced for patients and colleagues inspired me to incorporate it as a central part of my clinical approach. Rather than focusing solely on symptom management, ABC™ aims to address the underlying structural patterns that may be contributing to a patient’s presentation.
If you’re searching for an ABC™ chiropractor in Birmingham, I’d be happy to explain how this approach works and whether it might be appropriate for you.
You can read more on my dedicated Advanced Biostructural Correction™ page.
Patients often tell me they appreciate my calm, friendly manner and the time I take to truly listen. I understand that starting chiropractic care can feel daunting — especially if you’ve been in pain for a while — so my aim is always to make you feel comfortable, informed and confident in your care plan.
Chiropractic is a regulated healthcare profession in the UK. All chiropractors must be registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC) to practise legally. As a GCC-registered practitioner, I adhere to the GCC’s Code of Practice and standard of proficiency.
You’ll usually find me lifting weights, listening to a geeky podcast, or escaping in our motorhome (she’s called Mavis!) with my husband for a weekend adventure.
If you’re looking for a GCC-registered chiropractor in Moseley, or South Birmingham who combines experience, Advanced Biostructural Correction™ and genuine care — I’d love to help.
