Hip and knee pain can creep up gradually or appear suddenly, and it often affects the everyday things we take for granted. Walking, climbing stairs, exercising, or simply sitting comfortably for a work day. Lisa sees many patients across Moseley, Kings Heath, Hall Green and South Birmingham who are dealing with ongoing hip or knee discomfort alongside busy family and working lives.

How Does Chiropractic Help Hip or Knee Pain?

Hip and knee pain is rarely caused by the joint alone. Because your hips and knees work together with your pelvis and spine, imbalances further up the chain can sometimes contribute to how these joints move and feel. Lisa uses Advanced Biostructural Correction (ABC™), a specific method that looks at posture and whole-body alignment as part of understanding what may be contributing to your pain.

Chiropractic care may be worth exploring if you’re experiencing:

  • Hip or knee pain that’s been going on for weeks or months
  • Stiffness that’s worse first thing in the morning or after sitting
  • Discomfort that affects walking, exercise or stairs
  • Pain that seems linked to your posture or the way you move
  • Ongoing joint discomfort that hasn’t fully resolved with other approaches

What To Expect

Your first appointment includes an assessment of your whole body – not just your hip or knee. Your spine, pelvis, posture and movement patterns will also be observed. We use a range of specialised tests to work out exactly what’s contributing to your symptoms. Lisa will then explain what she found clearly, and if chiropractic care is appropriate, will propose a treatment plan based on your goals.

Is Chiropractic Right For Your Hip or Knee Pain?

Not every case of hip or knee pain is suitable for chiropractic care, Lisa always be honest with you about that. If you’re unsure whether it’s worth booking in, we offer a free “Is Chiropractic Right for Me?” call so we can talk it through first. It’s a ten minute chat to help you decide what’s right for you. No obligation, no fee.

We serve patients across Moseley, Kings Heath, Hall Green, Stirchley, Edgbaston, Harborne and the surrounding South Birmingham area.
